Zune Slapping iPods With Download Costs

Once again, it’s time to start some marketing for the Zune. Every once in a while rivals companies Microsoft and Macintosh will release some ad’s for their magical  music playing devices,Microsoft Zune and the Apple iPod. While the iPod has the solid color/technicolor crazy moving background with moving silhouettes dancing around to some new hit single type of commercials, the Zune commercials really only have random spots showing off the product with different people.

Windows 7 To Be Released This “holiday season.”

Who want’s some good news regarding Windows 7??? (We do!)

Today, the big news surrounding Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 is the release date. The Microsoft Corp. announced that Windows 7 will be released some time around the holiday season of 2009, anywhere between the middle of November or early December. (continue reading…)

Around The 1N73RN37Z (Internet)

While looking around Youtube today, I found two videos that made me forget that it is almost  impossible for me to get my own youtube channel off the ground.

The first video involves Apple slapping Windows around with an internet ad. It’s just like the TV ad’s, but only for your computer.

Microsoft Keepin’ Vista

iheartvistaA few days ago, Microsoft announced once Window’s 7 comes out, they will not be giving Vista the old heave-hoe. What was said by a spokeswomen was that “We have not made any final end-of-sales decisions for Windows Vista”. What was made clear was that once an operating system released, it is company policy to keep an OS in distribution for at least for years after its debut. So, since Vista was released back in January of 2007, it means that Vista will stick around until 2011. (continue reading…)

Who Likes Free Things?!?!

Hey poor people who like fun video games! Guess what! This weekend, not only is Microsoft letting sliver members taste the sweet nectar of online play with FREE Golden Membership, Steam is letting you play the PC version of Left 4 Dead for a full 24 HOURS! The free Xbox Gold Membership will go into effect today, Friday May 1 through Monday May 4. For me, it’s a gift from God, but for everyone else here on Digital Cross Fire, they pay for Xbox Live Gold. I have the PSN mentality . . .

The 24 hours are dwindling down for Left 4 Dead from time of writing. Beginning  5:01 p.m. PDT Thursday and end 5:00 p.m Friday, you will be able to download the Stream program, download the game, play Left 4 Dead, then buy Left 4 Dead 5:10 p.m Friday. Trust us.

Poor Phillip Alpert of Orlando Florida. He had a good relationship with his girlfriend. They have been dating for close to 2 1/2 years and young Phillip had just turned 18.
