Around The 1N73RN37Z (Internet)
by Oliver on May.10, 2009, under Gadgets, Macintosh, Windows, Youtube
While looking around Youtube today, I found two videos that made me forget that it is almostĀ impossible for me to get my own youtube channel off the ground.
The first video involves Apple slapping Windows around with an internet ad. It’s just like the TV ad’s, but only for your computer.
The text reads:
PC. Easy as 1-23
1. Remove unneeded bloatware
2. Configure security settings
3. Download and install OS security patches
4. Restart
5. Download / install extra security programs
6. Restart
7. Download / install drivers for peripherals
8. Restart
9. Remove optional Windows components
10. Update new virus list
11. Run full system virus scan
12. Update new malware list
13. Run full system malware scan
14. Download / install application updates
15. Restart
16. Clean out system registry
17. Repair corupt system registry
18. Defragment hard drive
19. Free up disk space
20. Scan disk for errors
21. Run system file checker
22. Read online instruction manual
23. Cross fingers
And the second video is Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody Old School Tech Remix
No effects or sampling were used. What you see is what you hear (does that even make sense?)
Atari 800XL was used for the lead piano/organ sound
Texas Instruments TI-99/4a as lead guitar
8 Inch Floppy Disk as Bass
3.5 inch Harddrive as the gong
HP ScanJet 3C was used for all vocals.
Awesome huh?
