Apple’s latest Macintosh OS X will be released on August 28th, which is available for pre-order already. For Leopard users you get to upgrade your OS X for a petite $29 dollars, with free shipping to boot. If you’ve recently purchased a Mac then you can get a discount to the already low price for the upgrade. If your purchase was made between June 8th to December 26th ‘09 then you can benefit from the Up-to-Date program that lets you upgrade your new mac for $9.95!! Now the downfall will come to those who have stuck around with tiger and won’t to get in on the action. Apple is providing the Mac Box Set that gives tiger users the Snow Leopard OS X, iLife ‘09, and iWork ‘09 for $169 bucks. But sad to say all of those with a power-pc core will need to upgrade there systems as Snow Leopard only works with and Intel core.
